Houses and offices don’t just happen on their own – we understand that planning and infrastructure support is necessary to open up these opportunities for developers and occupiers and we are investing heavily in this area:

• Road infrastructure improvements – North Road (2015), highway works around Gilesgate and Leazes Bowl (2016), Western Relief Road (2017), SCOOT (2017), Northern Relief Road (2028).
• Improvements to public transport – Sniperley Park and Ride (2015), new city centre Bus Station and junction improvements (2016).
